We went to a financial peace conference at our church last weekend. We figure now that we are out of school and are about to have a baby, we better know how to manage things wisely with our finances.
Not that you can't do that before you start your job and have a baby, but when you get married in undergrad, then have 6 years of college, you kinda sorta do what you have to do to get by. :)
There was a lot of great advice and a lot of me actually learning about grown up things that I pretend to know about when people talk about it at parties but secretly have no idea about.
Anyway, they played this hilarious video that I thought you should watch:
Love me some Amy Poehler.
There's also a three-part message series on my church's website you can watch here called Financial Peace on Earth that I really enjoyed.
Great. Now I'll be doing disco moves and singing money, money, money, money, MONEY! for a good hour this morning.

I love Amy! Also, I love no debt. My husband and I are paying my 4-Runner off this month and we will be completely debt free except for our mortgage! It's such a wonderful feeling! ps: here are some cute little banks to start teaching kids about saving and giving early. Both of my kids are getting these :)
